Here's a piece I did during the TAD workshop in KC a couple weeks ago, the assignment was to take a photo of a landscape and re-design it in to your own picture, so I grabbed a general photo with a cool tree and recomposed it and re-arranged everything and came up with this.

Had a lot of fun with this one, it was relatively quick and simple so I got to experiment a lot with color which I'm feeling much better about compared to my past oil paintings, I discovered the true awesome power of glazing and will be thoroughly abusing it in later works, gonna try and do another painting that's more figurative in the coming weeks.

I really love the colors, the composition and brush marks of this piece... all the elements work very nice together to produce a very interesting piece in the end! :clap:

I can't figure out what those two posts are in the foreground, though. Part of a fence? :shrug:
