Doing some studies to keep the good ol' drawing hand up to snuff! Definitely need to do more of these; might try and make a morning habit out of it. A good face is essential to a good finished painting!
These are all from movie stills, ranging from about 15 minutes to an hour and a half each. Props if you can guess them all.
Wow! These are great! really well drawn, though I will agree with about the forehead nose gap thing he explained. I'd really like to see a tutorial in portraits- that would be really helpful.
I'm guessing the first two are from the latest Snow White, dunno who the lower left guy is, center bottom is obviously Snape, no idea about the chicks on the right xD. Granted I don't know THAT many films! Still, this is good practice, though it looks like on most of your faces the nose connects too directly to the forehead; there's a bit of a dent right at the line where the eyes are usually. Granted Snape has a big nose, I'm not too sure about the others, but I think it could be a bit more prominent in most of your faces . The queen is really nicely done though!
Portrait tutorial could be a good one, I'll keep it in mind!
