Here's a quick environment study I did today, based on a photo I took of the Colorado National Monument. About 1.5 hours total.

I want to start doing daily paintings/sketches like these for fun and to practice the vast amount of things I haven't attempted in terms of subject matter, should be fun! Let me know if the postings of them get annoying.

Such good practice.....I like pushing them beyond the photo if I can for 30 minutes after I get it accurate. Just an idea.

Yeah definitely, I pushed the values and colors in this beyond the photo but wanted to keep it pretty true to nature just for the sake of quick learns.
