Blood Witch by Andantonius Blood Witch by Andantonius
One of the characters I did as a demo at the TAD booth during Comicon. I quite like how this one turned out and learned a few things about tertiary details that I think will help my designs a lot.

I love the design and everything. :p But I feel like her legs are a bit short? o_O or maybe its just me. haha. or maybe the head is too big making everything else look stubby. :-l Just some thoughts. :P This is a year old though. Your new stuff are a lot better. :D

Haha, yeah, this is both old and it was done as a live demo so I skipped ahead to the painting pretty quickly since no one wants to sit around and watch me figure out boring anatomy stuff. This probably took an hour or two from start to finish, on finished paintings I'd spend at least 8 hours just fleshing out the drawing and perspective before even thinking about adding color.

Man your cloth designs are becoming more and more elaborate it's great. :D

Thing is though, when I look at her chest and see the way the cloth just follows the shape of the breasts it feels unnatural, I think? Normally it just accepts the law of gravity. Even with close fitting morph suits the fabric doesn't go under the chest it just goes down a diagonal towards the belly, if you know what I'm saying. Unless its a corset.

Just a random observation. =P

Thanks! I think I learned some good stuff about making more intricate design from this piece. :)

And yeah, that's a good point. The downsides of speedpainting, haha.
